Rat Hole are a punk band from Southend-on-Sea, born in the Anne Boleyn pub somewhere between last orders and a lock-in.
Two blokes, one van, no shame whatsoever. Johnny Sideways and Doctor Smackpot make short, loud, gobby songs about wars nobody asked for, putting your phone away, and finally sorting out world peace at Wetherspoons.
They've dragged it from the seafront to Berlin and back, and they're not stopping till someone takes the van keys off them. They still haven't found a bassist. They've got Ben instead. More on him below, if he's not legged it.

Thinks he's the last true rock star in Britain and will tell you so before you've asked. Plays guitar like it owes him money. The hair is long, curly and his pride and joy: touch it and you're barred. Easily the more fashion-conscious of the two, which isn't hard.
Signature look The hair. The Rat Hole jacket. Stripy tights if it's a special occasion (it's always a special occasion).

Not a real doctor. Do not ask him to look at your rash. Amateur boxer and professional hitter of things, and the drums are only the start of the list. Sings while he does it, which is frankly showing off.
Signature look The bandana. If you see the bandana coming, move.
Who is Ben the Dep?
Rat Hole don't have a bassist. They have Ben the Dep. Every gig there's a different fella on bass, and every single one of them is Ben.
Where's Ben come from tonight? Depends who you ask, and how many they've had.
